| Dr. Lin is a member of the Environmental/Hydrotechnical group in the Department. He has experience of working in the academics, research institutes, and governmental agencies. His research interests are in water/wastewater treatment, water quality modeling, and the effects of anthropogenic stressors on aquatic ecosystems and mitigations. His work also involves studying the occurrence and effects of emerging pollutants such as engineered nanomaterials and pharmaceuticals and personal care products (PPCPs). His research is recently broadened to water treatment related to energy production. Prior to joining the WVU, Dr. Lin worked for the Illinois State Water Survey, and California Regional Water Quality Control Board where he was involved in nutrient criteria and TMDL programs. He is a member of a university-wide Sustainability committee at WVU. |
