| Dr. Martinelli teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses in the areas of transportation engineering, traffic operations, transportation planning and economics, and infrastructure management. He has conducted over 30 research projects under the sponsership of numerous federal and state agencies and has published over 50 papers in the areas of application of advanced technologies in transportation, transportation systems analysis, and transportation planning and economics (among others). He is a past recipient of the ASCE Collingwood Prize for his paper: "A Systemtic Review of Busways" and serves on several national committees of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE)and the Transportation Research Board, including the Department Heads Councel Executive Committee of ASCE. |
