Graduate Programs

The WVU Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering offers the master of science in civil engineering (M.S.C.E.). Inconjunction with the College of Engineering and Mineral Resources, the master of science in engineering (M.S.E.), and the doctor of philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees are available with emphasis in civil engineering.

These are the four major areas of interest of the faculty and graduate studies: Environmental and hydroelectrical engineering, Geotechnical engineering, Transportation engineering, and Structural engineering.
