| The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering is growing. Many new changes have recently occured including the endowment of a new professorship from alumni Maurice and Jo Ann Wadsworth, a new BSCE curriculum, the establishment of new research programs, and numerous faculty and student achievements. Several professors are taking civil engineering to a new level by introducing sciences like biology and microbiology into their research. As professors revitalize their methods, students will also see a shift in their instruction. This semester, a new curriculum was implemented. Students are now urged to incorporate up-and-coming sciences as well as other types of engineering courses into their plans of study. We are excited to embrace these changes.
